Once you've registered your nonprofit or governmental organization with the Volunteer Center Serving Howard County, you'll be given access to your Partner Portal.
Submitting Volunteer Opportunities
The Partner Portal provides a lot of information in the left menu bar, including how to: submit a volunteer opportunity (using the Create Volunteer Opportunity link in the left menu bar of the partner portal); add skills to an opportunity; add questions to the regsitration process; and how to confirm, schedule and track hours served.
Volunteer Opportunities for Youth
We'd love to feature your agency's volunteer opportunities in our saved search for youth volunteers. When you submit an opportunity, be sure to check the appropriate box for minimum age with and without an accompanying adult.
Please call us at (410) 715-3172 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. Thank you for giving youth a chance to make a difference in our community!

If your nonprofit or governmental agency has holiday needs - VOLUNTEER OR DONATION - please submit them to be included in our Annual Guide to Giving. This publication is a great year round tool and used by a variety of local groups, community organizations, individuals and families seeking ways to support local nonprofits by giving back during the holidays and beyond. Don't miss this excellent opportunity to reach a whole new audience!
The guide covers volunteer and donation needs for the holidays (Thanksgiving through Martin Luther King Jr. Day) as well as ongoing volunteer and donation needs. A submission form will be posted in early fall and the the updated guide will be posted on our website and promoted beginning in mid-October of each year. To be included you must be an active partner organization with the Volunteer Center Serving Howard County. There is no fee to be included.
