One EC Recovery Project


The OneEC Recovery Project exists to assist the recovery of those affected by the flooding on July 30, 2016, with special focus on the Main Street Ellicott City community. The One EC Recovery Project is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the long term recovery of Ellicott City, Maryland, with a special focus on the Main Street Ellicott City community following the devastating damage caused by extensive flooding in July of 2016. The One EC Recovery Project is composed of resident-leaders from Ellicott City, representatives from non-profit and faith-based organizations, municipal, Howard County and State Agency representatives. Since its formal incorporation in November of 2016, the One EC Recovery Project has identified over 30 cases of residential rebuilding and rehabilitation still needed for recovery and has been active in raising financial support, as well as, building supplies, goods, services, in-kind donations and volunteer labor to assist and benefit residents in their recovery.
