Baltimore Regional Transportation Board / Baltimore Metropolitan Council


ABOUT THE BALTIMORE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL The Baltimore Metropolitan Council is the organization of the Baltimore region’s elected executives, representing Baltimore City and Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford and Howard counties. Our Goal is to improve the quality of life and economic vitality in the Baltimore region by identifying regional interests and collaborating on strategies, plans and programs. ABOUT THE BALTIMORE REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION BOARD The Baltimore Regional Transportation Board is the federally recognized Metropolitan Planning Organization for transportation planning in the Baltimore region. There are 11 members that serve on the BRTB, representing the cities of Annapolis and Baltimore, the counties of Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford and Howard as well as the Maryland Department of Transportation, the Maryland Department of the Environment, the Maryland Department of Planning and the Maryland Transit Administration.
