Family Coach - Safe Families for Children

Volunteer Family Coaches plays a vital role in Safe Families. They help parents get back on their feet by helping them set and achieve their goals. They also monitor children’s safety and help host families by regularly checking in, coordinating support services from Family Friends and Resource Friends, and providing additional support and training when necessary.

----- ABOUT SAFE FAMILIES -----

Safe Families for Children™ (SFFC) mobilizes a network of compassionate volunteers to wrap around families facing crisis. While some volunteers temporarily provide housing for kids, others step in to mentor parents and help them achieve their goals. These supportive relationships provide the safety net many vulnerable families need to keep children out of the state foster care system and achieve long-term stability. www.buildingfamiliesforchildren.org/sffc

Building Families for Children (BFC) is the local implementer of Safe Families for Children (SFFC) in Maryland. BFC was founded in 1920 to “share the love of Christ by helping Maryland’s most vulnerable children thrive in families,” and SFFC is an important part of that mission! www.buildingfamiliesforchildren.org || www.facebook.com/buildingfamiliesforchildren
