Maryland Science Olympiad- State Tournament 2019
Maryland Science Olympiad is hosting its annual State Finals at Johns Hopkins University on Saturday, March 30. Over 700 middle and high schoolers from around the state have competed in 23 events and have qualified to compete here. The winner from this tournament will advance to the National Science Olympiad tournament at Cornell University.
We are seeking volunteers to help us run our multifaceted science and engineering tournament! The tournament runs all day, with setup at 7a and closing ceremonyies at 5p. There are two main volunteer shift slots, 830-1130a and 12-3p, with help needed in the 7-830a and 3-awards time slots as well.
Volunteers of all backgrounds are needed to both help run events and help with logistics. We have a variety of roles we are seeking to fill, so if you have interest in helping, we have a space for you! The main roles are detailed under the Volunteer sign-up section of our website (www.marylandscienceolympiad.org), you can also volunteer as a general volunteer and we will find a fitting place for you.

Note: To signup a volunteer that does not meet the minimum age only the minimum age with adult age, parents/adults need to create a team which includes themselves and the volunteer(s) that are under age.
