Kenilworth Jazz Night Volunteering

Want to help out at the event?

We need volunteers to:

  • set up before and clean up after (5-6 people needed) 
  • help out at the face painting station (4 people needed) 
  • help at the pumpkin painting station (4 people needed) 
  • help at the food stations (3-4 people needed) 
Volunteer roles will be assigned before the event begins so please arrive by 2:30pm.

About the Event

We invite you to our final Jazz & Lily Pads concert of the season on Saturday, October 13 from 3-5pm where we can celebrate YOU, our visitors, generous supporters, volunteers, and partners for all that you do to support Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens!

We'll have live music from 3-5pm, a photo exhibition featuring winners and honorable mentions from our 2018 annual photo contest, and a special evening park tour at 4pm. There will also be free hot dogs and apple cider, as well as a variety of activity stations (facepainting, pumpkin painting, live birds of prey and more)! Please bring a chair, blanket, picnic, and all your family and friends. This event is FREE and open to the public.

We will be outside! Please bring a chair, blanket, picnic, and all your family and friends.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Please park in the parking lot at the Aquatic Gardens at 1550 Anacostia Ave NE. If the lot is full, street parking is available.
