Mentors/Tutors Information Session
A-OK Volunteers serve as mentors and tutors for elementary and middle school students in Howard County schools. Our volunteers can provide one-on-one mentoring/tutoring during the school day in the schools or serve in special in-school and after-school programs working with children in small groups. A-OK volunteers make a commitment to serve for the school year and do not mentor/tutor in the summer.
We are screening and training new volunteers for the current 2018-2019 school year. Information Sessions are held that provide details about the organization, available volunteer opportunities, and to begin the process to become a volunteer with A-OK.
