Saturday Resume Reviews at Living Classrooms' Workforce Development Center
We are looking for volunteers to help review resumes at our Workforce Development Center!
The Target Investment Zone Workforce Development Program is designed to expand Living Classrooms' workforce/economic development strategies throughout the Baltimore Target Investment Zone; a 2.5 square-mile corridor located within East Baltimore where Living Classrooms is working with key partners to deliver targeted services in an effort to disrupt the cycle of generational poverty. Our workforce development program connects adults that are low-skilled, unemployed, underemployed, and dislocated workers to career training and high wage employment opportunities.
In order for our members to begin applying to jobs, they need - you guessed it - resumes! This is where our volunteers come in.While we will be open for individuals to stop in, our team also acquires a significant amount of resumes that need to reviewed on a weekly basis.
The faster we can review resumes, the sooner our participants can start applying!
Before signing up, please make sure you have completed our online New Volunteer application.
Location: The UA House at Fayette operated by Living Classrooms, 1100 E. Fayette St, 21231.
